UNAS promotes United Nations' related activities in Singapore, such as organizing conferences and seminars, raising funds and giving awards. The organization aims to promote better understanding of the role and structure of United Nations to the population, especially students. It has closely collaborated in educational events (such as Model United Nations and Young Diplomat Scheme) with many Junior Colleges like Raffles Junior College, NUS High School and Singapore Chinese Girls' School.

Organisation structure

The activities of UNAS are planned and managed by an elected Board of Directors. Members of the Board are eligible for re-election except for the post of Honorary Treasurer. In addition to the Board of Directors, a Board of Advisers made up of personalities in foreign affairs is appointed to strengthen the work of the Association.
